Normandy format restoration: Meeting of foreign policy advisers takes place in Paris

According to German representatives, the negotiations were based on "the last positive developments in Donbas"

On July 12, a meeting of foreign policy advisers from Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia was held in the French capital. It's goal was to resume negotiations in the Normandy format between the countries, reports RBK-Ukraine with reference to DW.

According to German representatives, the negotiations were based on "the last positive developments in  Donbas." Also, sides considered further steps for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, first of all - of the cease-fire.

Earlier it was reported that the Assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Commissioner of the Russian Federation for Donbas Issues Vladislav Surkov will take part in a meeting of advisers to the heads of state within Normandy format
 
And Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow will be ready to discuss the expansion of the Normandy  format after the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
