The end of the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the waters of Germany by Fortuna pipe-laying ship is planned for September 12 as Bloomberg reported.
“The message of mariners sent by the German grid operator, Fortuna will work in German waters in the area for about 13-14 km. The term of the action of the report is until September 12 inclusively,” the message says.
On August 22, pipe-laying of the second string of the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Danish economic zone has been completed.
On July 21, the U.S. and Germany made a joint statement in support of Ukraine, European energy security, and climate goals on the results of the talks on prospects of the launch of the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
The same day, Ukraine initiated consultations with the European Commission and Germany regarding the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which threatens the security of Ukraine and violates the principles of diversification of the EU Energy Union.
