There are no Ukrainian military servicemen in Afghanistan now. Anna Malyar, the Deputy Defense Minister reported that on Facebook.

"As of June 8, the peacekeeping contingent that had fulfilled tasks in Afghanistan within the NATO operation returned to Ukraine. Consequently, there are no servicemen of the Armed Forced of Ukraine on the territory of Afghanistan", Malyar said.

Earlier, we reported that 12 Ukrainan servicemen have stuck on the U.S. military base in Kabul; they expect evacuation. According to the Foreign Ministry, Ukraine's embassy stays in contact with them it and will instuct them on further steps as soon as evacuation opportunity appears.
