The Central Election Committee of Ukraine is not going to perform the re-drawing of political parties to define their positions in the ballots in the election for the Ukrainian parliament. The Supreme Administrative Court made the respective decision.
The Central Election Committee and ten political parties filed applications; the court considered them for nine hours.
The verdict cannot be appealed.
Previously, June 26, the Central Election Committee performed the draw of the numbers of parties in the ballots. June 27, it approved the form and text of the ballot.
June 29, the Supreme Court ruled that the Committee would register Movement of New Forces of Mikheil Saakashvili. On June 30, the Committee submitted this party under number 22 - without the draw.
July 4, the Appeal Court obliged the Committee to hold a new draw ceremony, with all 22 parties running.
The snap parliamentary election in Ukraine is slated for July 21.
