Preparations for the meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky are not underway at the moment, press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov stated on November 29, TASS reports.
"No, not at the moment," he said in response to a question.
As it was reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to discuss Crimea and Donbas with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. The Kremlin has stated that Russia is not a party to the conflict.
Later, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that a meeting between Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin is currently "impossible because of Kyiv's position" regarding the Minsk agreements.
In early October President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he believes his personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin may be fruitful.
