There are few chances of holding another round of prisoners exchange in Donbas. Leonid Kuchma, the ex-president of Ukraine and the current representative of the Ukrainian side in Minsk trilateral contact group said that in his commentary for the press, 112.ua reported.

'See, we can hear our representative Medvedchuk who negotiates with Putin and Poroshenko. Ask him. I don't think there will be any changes before the presidential election', Kuchma said.

The last round of the POW exchange took place on December 27, 2017. Nevertheless, the sides have been negotiating the exchange of Ukrainian political prisoners for a long while now.

The Russian side does not respond to the respective requests filed by the Ukrainian government.
