In 2021, Ukrainian government does not plan creating the separate fund for fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov said so during the interview with 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"As of today, there were no plans to create the separate anti-Covid fund in the next year. Discussions in the Parliament are now underway; some factions argue about it, and the MPs say the separate anti-Covid fund should be created", Razumkov said.

According to him, it basically does not matter whether it would be the single, central fund or separate funds in various ministers that are supposed to cover the expenses related to fighting against coronavirus. "It matters how these costs will be used", the official concluded.

Earlier, the Finance Ministry claimed that as of October 23, 1.2 billion dollars have been spent from the government-created coronavirus fund; that makes 52 percent of the entire sum of the fund.
