UN will not deploy peacekeepers in Donbas, if Russia gives no consent for it. Kurt Volker, the U.S. envoy for Donbas-related affairs said that during his Skype conference from Vienna, Yevropeiska Pravda reports.

According to the U.S. official, instead of UN peacekeepers’ involvement, Russia offers security for OSCE observers. ‘They actually offer to keep their troops in Donbas and let them control part of Ukraine’s state border. That contradicts Minsk agreements,’ he said.
