The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka said that no one had called him to ask or demand him to influence the investigation into the case against former US Vice President and potential US Presidential candidate Joe Biden. He said this during a briefing on reforming of the prosecution bodies’, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

"None of the foreign, domestic politicians, officials and non-officials called me and tried to influence my decisions on specific criminal proceedings," Ryaboshapka said.

Ryaboshapka also declined to comment on the correspondence of US President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudolf Giuliani with US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker, where Volker confirmed that he helped to arrange meetings with Giuliani's aide with President Volodymyr Zelensky’s assistant Andrii Ermak.

As we reported earlier, on October 3, Donald Trump stated that he wants Ukraine and China to investigate the case of Joe Biden and his son.

Trump added that he believes that China should initiate an investigation into Biden’s case, citing unproven allegations that he and his lawyer have made regarding Hunter Biden’s business relationship in China.
