There will be no default in Ukraine; the government is now working on the new program of Ukraine-IMF cooperation. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during his meeting with German businessmen in Berlin. His press office quoted him as saying.

'We begin negotiations with the IMF, making the new program already in July. There will be no default', he stressed.

The head of the Ukrainian state confirmed that his country continues to cooperate with the IMF, the World Bank and EBRD.

Zelensky added that as a President, he would not apply any pressure on the court or the banking system.

Previously, the president said that first working meeting in the Normandy Format is planned for July, as 112 Ukraine cited him. “Concerning the return to Normandy Format, for me and every Ukrainian, the most important is the end of the war. Consequently, first of all, it was discussed to deal with this issue after the parliamentary elections in Ukraine. I really want this meeting to take place urgently so the first working meeting is planned for July. We believe in the victory and stop of the war,” Zelensky said.
