Michael Brodsky, the newly appointed ambassador of Israel, arrived in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Israel in Ukraine on Facebook.
"Today the diplomats of the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine met our new ambassador Michael Brodsky. The diplomats shared real Ukrainian traditions and expressed their hope for further effective cooperation!" reads the message.
Brodsky was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and immigrated to Israel 30 years ago. In 2002, he joined the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2003-2008, he worked as a press attaché at the Israeli Embassy in Moscow and as a political attaché at the Israeli Embassy in Moscow from 2006 to 2008.
In 2009-2013, he served as Public Relations Director at the Israeli Embassy in London. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as the Israeli Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
July 22, Israel announced Brodsky's appointment to this position. The previous ambassador, Joel Lyon, has been heading the office for the last three years.
