Anton Drobovych became the new Head of the National Institute of Remembrance of Ukraine. Volodymyr Borodyansky, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, presented him as Ukrinform reported.
“The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport continues the practice of presentation of the heads or people we recommend for the leadership positions. Today, I want to present you Anton Drobovych who is approved as the head of the central body of the executive power of the National Institute of Remembrance,” Borodyansky said.
Anton Drobovych is a Ph.D. in philosophy, an expert in the field of education and culture, a researcher of mythology and modern communications, an art critic and the head of educational programs for the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.
He worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Cultural Studies of the National Pedagogical University named after Drahomanov and an expert at the Institute of Social and Economic Research. Drobovych is a laureate of the IV Stedley Art Foundation competition of art criticism. In addition, he is the author of a series of lectures on the topic of mythology in art, as well as more than 50 scientific publications in the field of philosophy, cultural studies and anthropology.
Ex-Head of the National Institute of Remembrance Volodymyr Vyatrovych left his post on September 19. He became the official member of the Ukrainian parliament on November 14.
