A new government may be formed in Germany in March, as Horst Seehofer, leader of the Christian Social Union, told Bild.

“We must start coalition negotiations right after the SPD (The Social Democratic Party of Germany) holds a meeting. It might end in the first days of February. Then there will be a decision of the members of the SPD. A new government might give the pledge in the first half of March,” Seehofer said.

Previously there has been a breakthrough in the negotiations on the coalition in Germany. The coalition would include the SPD, the CDU and the CSU.
