In the Czech Republic, President Miloš Zeman is due to swear in the new Prime Minister on November 26. It is expected that it will be chairman of the right-liberal Civil Democratic Party (CDP) Petr Fiala, ABCnews reports.

He announced the president's decision after the head of state visited the hospital.

"Mr. President will appoint me Prime Minister of the Czech Republic on Friday, November 26. The ceremony will take place [in the country residence of the head of state] in the Lány Castle [in the city of the same name near Prague]", Petr Fiala stated.

Then, over the next 10 days, Miloš Zeman intends to meet with politicians - candidates for ministerial posts, a list of which was presented to him by the head of the CDP. After that, the ceremony of appointing a new Cabinet by the Czech President will take place.

Fiala's government will consist of 18 members, including the Prime Minister. The head of state objected to the candidacy of only one of the future ministers.

Miloš Zeman is expected to be discharged from the hospital by November 26. He was previously diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver.

As it was reported, parliamentary elections took place in the Czech Republic not so long ago.The winner was the center-right opposition coalition - "Together" (SPOLU).
