An additional 1.5 million doses of the Chinese vaccine CoronaVac were delivered to Ukraine on Saturday, July 31. This was announced by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko on Facebook.

"This week alone we took 52,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, 430,560 doses of Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech, yesterday 764,440 doses of CoronaVac from Sinovac Biotech, and right now they are unloading another charter with 1,500,000 doses of this vaccine," the minister wrote.

Lyashko noted that 11,929,056 doses of vaccines have arrived in Ukraine since the start of the immunization campaign against Covid-19.

“This means that by the end of the summer we will definitely get what we promised - 10 million inoculations. Of these vaccines (which have been brought to Ukraine since the beginning of the campaign - ed.): 4,137,500 doses of COVAX; 153,600 doses of humanitarian aid from EU countries; 7,637,956 doses have been brought from the state budget," he said.

Now a full course of immunization with CoronaVac vaccine is the basis for crossing the border of countries such as Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt and others.

In Ukraine, as of July 31, more than 2 million people underwent a full course of vaccination against coronavirus.

We also note that earlier in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine it was allowed to vaccinate children against Covid-19.
