The negotiations of the deputies of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Normandy Four countries started in Berlin. Andriy Melnik, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany reported this.
Vadym Prystaiko, the first deputy of Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs will represent Ukraine during the meeting.
The ambassador also reported that Prystaiko held a meeting with Markus Ederer, the State Secretary of Germany shortly before the Normandy Four negotiations.
Petr Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine visited Berlin and held the meeting with Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany on May, 20. Merkel planned to hold a Normandy Four meeting with the presidents of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France to discuss the situation in Donbas.
