NATO will not aid Israel if Iran attacks, - Stoltenberg

Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General, said the Alliance would not assist Israel in case of the conflict with Iran, as The New York Times reports referring to Der Spiegel.

“Israel is a partner, but not a member and that NATO's "security guarantee" doesn't apply to Israel,” Stoltenberg stated.

He also noted that NATO is not participating in the settlement of the situation in Mideast.

“It is not our job,” he stressed.

Besides, the NATO Secretary General added that there are arguments among the NATO member states concerning the Iran Nuclear Deal.
