NATO North Atlantic Council to visit Ukraine in October

NATO North Atlantic Council will visit Ukraine on October 30-31. However, it should take place in July 2019 as Deutsche Welle reported.

The visit will show the strong commitment of the Alliance to Ukraine.

“The North Atlantic Council will visit Ukraine on October 30-31, 2019. This visit shows the strong commitment of the Alliance to Ukraine. All state-members of NATO support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and its right to decide the future,” the message said.

The Alliance plans to reveal the details later.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly session will take place in Kyiv in spring 2020. The proper decision was signed by Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andry Paruby.

21st Ukraine-EU summit has begun on July 8. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker participate in the summit.
