NATO drills kick off In Czech Republic

Ample Strike 2017, involving Air Forces of 18 NATO member countries, will be running for two weeks

The Czech Republic hosts the two weeks-long military drills Ample Strike 2017. The NATO-organized exercise involves Air Forces of 18 member countries of the Alliance – as well as combat aviation of the countries, which participate in ‘Partnership for Peace’ program. Ceske Noviny outlet reported that on Wednesday.

The news agency added that 1,300 servicemen will join the drills, too.

According to the Czech defense ministry, the military aviation will practice joint actions with ground-based gun spotters.   

Ample Strike 2017 will be running till September 12.
