European states have already entered the zone of reach of the missiles of North Korea. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with Yomiuri agency during his visit to Japan.
"We recognize that Europe has also entered the zone of missiles reach, and NATO member states are already in danger," he said.
According to him, NATO protects its member states from the threat of ballistic missiles by deterring them.
"We firmly adhered to North Korea. As for the answer to North Korea: "We need to increase pressure on North Korea to put it at the table of dialogue, we strongly support economic sanctions," Stoltenberg said.
As it was reported earlier NATO can launch a counter-attack, but the Secretary General believes it’s important that the negotiations with the DPRK are held. In recent months Pyongyang has ramped up its long-range missile tests and refused to give into global pressure to end its nuclear program.
