In Belarus, a national strike was declared in response to the inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko behind closed doors and the dispersal of the rally. This was reported by NEXTA Telegram-channel.
"A national strike is set for Thursday and Friday! It is time for the workers of all state-owned enterprises to show themselves once again. As always, you will be intimidated, but living in complete lawlessness is even worse," the statement said.
Besides that – drivers and pedestrians are working on blocking roads and routes across the country, as well as conducting decentralized rallies in different areas.
Citizens are also urged not to pay taxes for utilities, to pay salaries “in envelopes”.
As we reported earlier, yesterday, on September 23, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a secret inauguration at the Palace of Independence in Minsk.
A few hundred people were invited to the inauguration ceremony. Among them are the highest officials, deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic, heads of state bodies and organizations, local executive and administrative bodies, republican mass media, figures of science, culture, and sports.
