The official just resigned from this position; the authorities suspect him of tax evasion

National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have been conducting searches in the office of Oleksiy Lyubchenko, formerly the first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Economy Minister who has just resigned. 

According to the sources cited by Slidstvo.Info, the searches could be related to tax evasion. 

The NABU claimed that the details are being sorted out. The SBU refused to comment on the situation but did not deny that the operation took place.

On November 2, Lyubchenko asked the government to accept his resignation from this office.
Recently, we reported that Party faction of Servant of the People supported the candidacy of Oleksiy Reznikov for the post of Defense Minister of Ukraine. Besides, the party endorsed Iryna Vereshchuk as the Vice Prime Minister - Minister for re-integration of temporarily occupied territories, which Reznikov had abandoned.
