The detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine hold searches at the building of the Ukrainian Association of Football (former Football Federation of Ukraine). This was announced by the head of press service of the UAF Yarema Horodchuk, as Ukrainian News reported.

“The investigative actions are taking place in the morning,” he said. At the same time, he did not give any other details.

The deputy head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Volodymyr Kryvenko informed the agency that investigative actions in the office of the former Football Federation of Ukraine are being held in the case on purchase of artificial football fields.

As it was reported earlier, in April, the NABU searched the house of Vadym Kostyuchenko, the Vice President of Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU). The FFU is suspected of the corruption schemes, including the illegal use of the state funds. Besides, the plant of the federation on the production of the artificial grass was searched as well as the partakers of the criminal case investigated by the NABU since June 2018.
