Serhiy Leshchenko, the Ukrainian MP from Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc, is presumably avoiding looking into the protocol of his administrative offence, NAPC, National Agency to Prevent Corruption says. Due to that, the Agency qualifies his behavior as lack of will to help the investigation.

Since November 30, about a week now, Leshchenko did not find time to examine the protocol. Currently, the Agency negotiates with the MP’s lawyer, who pleads to change date of the procedure of examination of the protocol. Today, the lawyer explained that Leshchenko failed to come to the interview with the Agency, since he had another interview at Prosecutor General’s Office, where he was summoned as a witness.

The lawmaker, in turn, previously said that the NAPC violates the procedure and he already promised to come on December 9. According to him, the Agency discredits him through the media and their own website. Leshchenko added such actions would undermine social trust in any actions taken by this governmental authority.
