The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) ordered a writ to the Minister of Energy Ihor Nasalyk and acting Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Vitalii Trubarov based on the results of exceptional checks at “Pervomaiskvuhillia” State enterprise and State Property Fund of Ukraine, reports the press office of NAPC.
The National Agency found that the head of “Pervomaiskvuhillia” violated the requirements of Part 9 of Art. 62 and Part 1 of Art. 64 of the Ukrainian Law about the prevention of corruption. In particular, the position responsible for the realization of the anti-corruption program was missing in the structure of the “Pervomaiskvuhillia” State enterprise until June 1, 2018.
The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption demands to hold an internal investigation in order to identify the reasons for the absence of a commissioner in the structure of “Pervomaiskvuhillia” State enterprise.
Also, a writ was ordered to the acting head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine based on the results of the checks. It was found that the officials of the Fund didn’t hold special checks on the winner of the competition for the position, which provides for the occupation of a responsible or especially responsible position.
The national Agency demands to eliminate found breaches and to hold an official investigation in order to establish the reasons led the officials of the State Property Fund of Ukraine to fail to fulfill the requirements of Part 1 of Art. 56, Parts 1 and 3 of Art. 57 of the Ukrainian Law on the prevention of corruption, and to take measures based on results in accordance with the law.
