Naftogaz-Ukraine company is going to participate in the certification procedure of Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. CEO of the company Yury Vitrenko said so on November 15.

German regulator BNetzA approved the request of Ukraine's state-run regulator that actually stands against Nord Stream 2 certification.

"The company (Naftogaz-Ukraine) welcomes the decision because now, the regulator has to take into account our stance and our arguments. It will also let us learn about the position and arguments of Nord Stream 2 AG, which will result in a more transparent process", Vitrenko said.
