Head of NJSC Naftogaz-Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko asks the Cabinet of Ministers to take over the powers of the supervisory board of the company as soon as possible. This is stated in Vitrenko's letter to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, RBC-Ukraine reports.
It is noted that after three independent members of the supervisory board resigned, the body became incapacitated.
"In order for the company to implement the proposed roadmap and to ensure the successful heating season, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must: appoint independent members of the supervisory board (or perform the functions of the supervisory board until its new compositionis formed)," the letter reads.
As we reported earlier, three independent members of the Naftogaz supervisory board resigned.
“Three independent members of the supervisory board of Naftogaz filed the letter of resigning on September 7; earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has announced the competition for these positions at the supervisory board,” the message says.
