MPs budget $7.5 billion for defense in 2019

Provided by the Cabinet of Ministers 2019 draft budget on September 14, $7.5 billion was budgeted for the defense sector. Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman claimed this at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers, 112 Ukraine reports.

‘Ukrainian army remains the clear priority, the whole spectrum and the whole block of security and defense. $7.5 billion will be spent for this sector,’ the Prime Minister claimed.

Groysman noted that the division of the allocated funds to remain within the jurisdiction of the NSDC. The Cabinet of Ministers voiced only the total amount of all planned expenses for the maintaining of the defense sector.
