MPs agree to dismiss Lyubchenko from position of Economy Minister

The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleksiy Lyubchenko from the position of First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture at his own request. 320 people's deputies voted for.

The Verkhovna Rada appointed Oleksiy Lyubchenko as the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine. 293 Ukrainian MPs supported his candidacy.

Prior to his appointment as the Minister, Lyubchenko headed the State Tax Service (since April 29, 2020). Prior to that, Lyubchenko was the First Vice President of Ukragrohimholding, Adviser to the Head of the State Fiscal Service, Director of the Department in the State Tax Service, Deputy Head of the Tax Service, and held various management positions in Cherkasy region.

As it was reported, today, on November 3, on the agenda of parliament is the dismissal of five ministers of the Denys Shmygal's Cabinet of Ministers.
