MP states he does not collect votes for Speaker's resignation: Signature sheets do not matter

Leader of the Servant of the People faction Davyd Arakhamiya stated that he was not collecting votes for the resignation of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov. The corresponding video was published in the Telegram channel Politics of the Country.

“We are not collecting votes for [firing] Razumkov ... I did not collect anything, there are zero signatures, there is not even my signature ... The fact of the signature sheets does not mean anything,” Arakhamiya said.

When asked why he requested signature letters from Razumkov, Arakhamiya replied that he “used the right of a parliamentarian.”

As it was reported earlier, on September 30, chairman of Servant of the People faction Davyd Arakhamiya requested from Dmytro Razumkov signature sheets for his resignation from the office of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

Earlier, it was reported that the congress of deputies of the Servant of the People faction, scheduled for October 1-3 in Truskavets, will consider the replacement of staff in the Cabinet, as well as the possibility of collecting signatures for the removal of Dmytro Razumkov from the Verkhovna Rada.

Dmytro Razumkov earlier stated that he was not going to resign.
