Law enforcers conduct the cross examination of Serhiy Pashynsky and Vyacheslav Khimikus, the sides to the conflict that recently happened in Kyiv region.
As 112 International reported, Khimikus got shot by Pashynsky in a shooting incident that occurred in a village in Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region, on December 31.
The cross-examination is conducted in the accident and emergency unit at a hospital in Kyiv, where Khimikus receives treatment, 112 Ukraine TV channel’s reporter says.
Pashynsky, Khimikus, his wife, witness and Khimikus’s lawyer are present at the interview.
The MP refused to speak to the press before the cross-examination.
The police reported that on December 31, a shooting incident occurred in Vasylkiv district in Kyiv Oregion, between local residents and one of the deputies; the MP used a firearm to defend himself. The police is investigating the case now.
Ukraine’s National Police confirmed that the minibus was blocking the road and didn’t have the parking lights on. The 38-year-old attacker is a resident of Vasylkiv district. The man has a criminal record, according to police.
