Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk, the MP from Servant of the People party claimed that it's time to limit the freedom of speech in Ukraine. The lawmaker said this in a recent interview with Nastoyashcheye Vremya.
She said so at the time when volunteer Marusya Zvirobiy's apartment was searched.
"It seems to me that the freedom of speech is so strong in our country it is time to dump it - in respect for the presidential power, one has to watch their mouth", she said.
Zvirobiy is a volunteer, the veteran of Donbas conflict. Her house was searched on Thursday, November 28, as the State Bureau of Investigations suspected her with "a threat of assassination of President of Ukraine". The law enforcers seized weapons, notepad and cell phones.
Another suspect in the same case is Sofia Fedyna, the MP from European Solidarity.
