Missile alarm sirens are blaring in Israel on the border with Gaza Strip again. According to HAMAS, one of the targets is Ramon International Airport; cited the movement as saying.

"No reports about casualties or destruction", the message says.

According to the local media, one of missiles fell not far from Eilat, dealing no damage.

Earlier, HAMAS leaders stated that they had fired 250 missiles on Israel during the recent attack. Ramon International Airport located not far from Eilat was among the targets. Currently, the airport is closed.

Meanwhile, Israel developed the plans of a ground operation in Gaza Strip.

Earlier, UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov of the Russian Federation agreed on the need to involve a quartet of international mediators - Russia, the European Union, the United States, and the United Nations - to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Deutsche Welle reports citing Lavrov following talks with Guterres in Moscow on Wednesday, May 12.

"The UN is ready to resume the work of the quartet and promote dialogue between the parties," Guterres said.

He assured that the organization supports all steps to de-escalate tensions in the region. Lavrov believes that the meeting of international mediators to resolve the situation in the Middle East "is desirable to hold at the level of foreign ministers."
