The government of Kharkiv region, northeastern Ukraine, and Moldovan ambassador Ruslan Bolbochan discussed opening an honorary consulate in Kharkiv. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry reported that on Wednesday.
'During the meetings with statesmen from Kharkiv region, we discussed issues of interregional cooperation, deepening the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations. Due to the that fact, the sides expressed mutual interest in opening the Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv', reads the message.
The two governments also consider the construction of a new railway road from Kishinev to Kharkiv.
Bolbochan invited Kharkiv-based businessmen to visit the forum of GUAM member countries, which is slated for autumn in Kishinev.
Additionally, on August 1, Air Moldova airline renews the flights between Chisinau and Kyiv. It is reported that flight Kyiv-Chisinau will depart from Ukraine daily, excluding Saturday, at 17:10. Since September 22, the flights will be performed seven days a week. Airbus A319 with 134 seats and Embraer E190 with 111 seats will serve the flights. The passengers will be able to buy the tickets of the economy- and business-class seats, receive food and use the free registration. Air Moldova airline is the national air carrier of Moldova that is based in Chisinau. The fleet of the company consists of Embraer 190 and Airbus 320 and serves 28 flights in Europe and the Middle East.
