Moldova's Independence Day celebration

Moldova has postponed the start of Independence Day celebrations because planes of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis were unable to land at Chisinau airport in time due to weather conditions. This was reported by the press service of the Moldovan Republic’s President.

"We announce that the schedule of celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence is postponed for approximately an hour. The delay is caused by the dense fog over Chisinau airport, which interfered with the landing of Presidents Klaus Iohannis and Volodymyr Zelensky," the statement reads.
