Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy will visit Ukraine in March 2018. Rikard Jozwiak, the Brussels correspondent of Radio Liberty reported this on Twitter.
‘The EU foreign policy chief Mogherini is likely to go to Ukraine in March. The visit will come around the same time as EU foreign ministers will debate EU-Ukraine relations in Brussels’, he wrote.
According to the journalist, the politicians will consider the issues of the reforms, Crimea and Russia.
Federica Mogherini visited Ukraine for the last time in 2015. She held the meeting with Mustafa Dzhemilev, Refat Chubarov and confirmed that the EU does not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea.
Later she met Petro Poroshenko and assured that Ukraine is still under the careful attention of the EU. She also discussed with Arseny Yatsenyuk, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine the creation of the fund for the increase of the wages for the Ukrainian officials.
