The missile tests in southern Ukraine are over; they were successful, all missiles hit their hypothetical targets. The military leadership reported this to President Poroshenko. Syatoslav Tseholko, Poroshenko’s press secretary, posted this at Facebook.
’16 Ukrainian missiles were launched; all of them hit their targets. The mission is completed for today. The Air Force drills are to take place on December 2,’ Tseholko wrote.
Andriy Hordeyev, head of Kherson regional state administration, told 112 Ukraine TV channel that the drills were over at about 2 p.m. Kyiv time. ‘We used the abandoned Soviet firing range; we restored it and made it possible to hold military drills there again. That was actually the first firing drills with the use of missile troops. We’re holding exercises on our territory, over our waters, and there is no threat to civilians,’ Hordeyev said.
