Minsk talks group to hold video conference on March 25

The Trilateral Contact Group for the solution of Donbas conflict (Minsk talks group) will hold a video conference on March 25. It was reported by ZN.ua.

The Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov had earlier stated that the TGC meeting scheduled for March 25 had been canceled due to coronavirus pandemic and another round of consultations would be held in video format.

The Ukrainian side intends to focus its attention on the work of subgroups on humanitarian and security issues.

As we reported earlier, on March 13, the Minsk talks group agreed on the creation of an advisory board

The board gives Russia the status of observer and guarantor, just like the one enjoyed by Germany, France and the OSCE.

"The major tasks of the council are to conduct the dialogue, consultations and to make offers on projects of political and legal solutions to the conflict, according to the measures, including those on holding elections in separate areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the decision reads.
