President of the European Council Donald Tusk stated that Minsk Agreements should be fulfilled by both sides, especially Russia as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

“The EU is ready to support Minsk Agreements, which provide the non-recognition of the issuance of the Russian passports to the citizens of occupied territories…It is absolutely clear that Minsk Agreements should be fully fulfilled as never before by all sides; Russia bears special responsibility due to it”, Tusk said.

Earlier Tusk commented of the results of his visit to Stanytsia Luhanska. He stated that tragedy with humanitarian consequences for the civilians continues on the east of Ukraine.

Besides, Tusk called all the Ukrainians heroes.

As we reported the EU leaders will present a package of extra measures of support for Azov, which is part of Ukraine's Donetsk region, during the summit.

Besides, it was reported that the Ukrainian side has not agreed yet the project of the joint document on the final of Ukraine-EU summit.
