The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine announced the placement of additional Eurobonds in the amount of USD 600 million with a yield of 6.2% and maturing in 2033. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko, the press service of his department reports.
"We are glad to announce the pricing of the next public Eurobond issue this year. The estimated yield of 6.20% is the lowest yield on a public US dollar Eurobond in the history of Ukraine. The support of international financial institutions and the investment community is extremely important for us in this difficult year", said Marchenko.
This additional issue increased the outstanding outstanding 7.253% Eurobonds maturing on March 15, 2033, with the total outstanding amount of USD 2 billion.
BNP Paribas and Goldman Sachs International acted as joint lead managers for the transaction. Settlement of the issue should take place on December 18, 2020.
The funds raised will be used to finance general budget allocations.
