Minimal living wage in Ukraine increases to USD 65.25

The respective norm took effect according to the law about the 2017 state budget

The minimal living wage for able-bodied persons in Ukraine increased by over 4.5 percent – now it’s 1,762 Ukrainian hryvnas, or roughly 65.25 U.S. dollars.

The living wage for the disabled persons now makes 1,373 hryvnas (approximately 50 dollars).

The amount of state social assistance for the disabled has been also increased.

The minimal amount of the maternity benefits currently makes approximately USD 16.30.
