Minesweepers of NATO member countries arrive in Odesa docks

The ships patrol the Mediterranean within the NATO SNMCMG 2; they came to Ukraine with a friendly visit

Four minesweepers arrived in the docks of Odesa, southern Ukraine. ESPS Sella (Spain), Ros Lupu Dinescu (Romania), BGS Shkval (Bulgaria) and ITS Numana (Italy) came to the south Ukrainian port with a friendly visit, as their mission in the Mediterranean continues. Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on Tuesday morning.

The ships are part of the NATO Standing Group 2 (SNMCMG 2). 

"The said ships patrol the Mediterranean Sea as part of the 2nd counter-mine group of the NATO, and they came to Odesa with a friendly visit. They'll stay there until the end of the week", the message said.

A group of NATO officials chaired by Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will inspect the vessels during their visit to Odesa; it is supposed to take place on October 30 and 31. The NATO delegation is expected to visit Odesa and Kyiv, where the session of Ukraine-NATO commission is about to take place.
