Tymofiy Milovanov, the Assistant Head of the Office of President of Ukraine has chaired the Ukroboronprom Supervisory Board. Press office of Ukroboronprom concern reported that on June 2.
The authority's session took place on June 1; during it, the members of Ukroboronprom unanimously voted for Milovanov as the Board's chairman.
Currently, the Board consists of five members.
The authority approves the concern's development strategy and controls the accomplishment of tasks that concern and its participant companies face in their everyday work.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's military intends to develop the high-altitude strike and reconnaissance UAV, equipped with the domestic engine. Press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on May 12.
Antonov aviation plant is to develop the basis of the new drone, which includes hull, wings, chassis and the engine. The latter, called AI450 is being manufactured at Ivchenko-Progres state enterprise.
Antonov, together with the fellow enterprises, is going to develop the draft project and present it to potential customer and investor.
