Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine has received a photocopy of the statement of the fugitive ex-President Viktor Yanukovych with a request to Russia to send troops to Ukraine. Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko published this document on Facebook.

"The Lawyer of Yanukovych breeds seudo sensations in the last days. The reason is simple. The day of the trial of Yanukovych is getting closer, and so the evidence of his high treason. The Chief Military Prosecutor's Office received the certified by the official seal of the United Nations photocopies of statements of Yanukovych from 01.03.2014 with a request to send troops of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, and all official materials that have been added to the application by the Russian Federation of the Russian Federation representative to the UN Churkin through the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the official letter of the UN Secretariat. All received materials are recognized by the UN as official documents, which has been provided by the Russian Federation", reads the message.

Lutsenko added that the military prosecutor's office received irrefutable documentary evidence of the high treason by ex-president.

"I received the resolution on the disclosure of data of the pre-trial investigation from a senior prosecutor in the production of treason of Yanukovych", he explained.
