State Secretary Mike Pompeo admitted Israel's right to counter-attack Iranian military forces in Syria. American diplomatists stated about his support during talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That was reported by Reuters

"U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Israeli airstrikes in Syria, expressed Washington’s support for Israel’s right to defend itself from the threat posed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard," says the message.

Pompeo and Netanyahu discussed strengthening of Iranian positions in Syria which threatens to Israel and its neighbors.

As it was reported earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Jerusalem soon.

“I want to use this opportunity and invite you to Jerusalem. We have already agreed that it would be next week and if not the next week, then very soon. We are inviting you to our capital,” Netanyahu said.
