The Joint Investigation Team that looks into the downing of MH17 aircraft has turned to the Russian military, asking for extra information about the circumstances of downing of the airplane. The Dutch side asks Russians to share information on the Buk anti-aircraft missile launcher, which was used by Russian militants in Donbas to hit the plane.
The Dutch police published the respective message. "The appeal is made on behalf of the continuing investigation and is addressed in particular to the citizens of the Russian city of Kursk. According to the JIT the Buk-TELAR that downed the plane was delivered from Kursk", it says.
The investigation team is first of all interested in photos and videos, e-mail correspondence or military orders that concern the Boeing 777 catastrophe. The Dutch law enforcers asked the informants to send the relevant infortmation to [email protected], or message/call in WhatsApp and Signal, using the phone number 0031 683559290.
The Dutch police also uploaded two videos where a retired Dutch military man and parents of one of the victims insist it is crucial to sort out all details of the catastrophe.
The trial in the MH17 case will be continued on September 6. The families of deceased people will use their right to speak at the session hall.
