Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel is to pay a visit to Kyiv on Thursday, November 1 to discuss the implementation of Minsk Agreements with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Ulrike Demmer, the official representative of Germany’s Government, said this to the press, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
'Bilateral relationships will be the core of the talks,' Demmer said.
The politicians will also discuss the situation in Donbas conflict zone and 'the implementation of Minsk Agreements'.
Poroshenko’s previous visit to Germany took place in April.
During his speech at Munich Security Conference, the President of Ukraine Poroshenko stated that Russia had a chance to show its readiness for compromise and agree to deploy the peacekeepers over the occupied Donbas.
