Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel claimed that there is no need to expect the great results from the negotiations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin; however, they will discuss a wide range of the issues as Interfax-Ukraine reported.
"It is a working meeting, there is no need to expect the great results of it, but the number of the issues is big – from Ukraine to Syria and cooperation in the economic sphere and it would be right to always be in the dialogue, so, I want to continue this dialogue tomorrow," Merkel said.
According to her, it is not worthy to expect the simple dialogue on Saturday.
"There will be the contradictions, but also, there will be the topics on which we can force or improve the bilateral or international cooperation," she said.
As we reported Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Germany for negotiations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on August 18. It was also reported that the leaders will discuss the war in Syria, the conflict in Eastern Ukraine and a pipeline to transfer Russians gas to Germany.
