The leaders of Canada and Germany have discussed several topics, among which there are trade, migration, and international security, including strong support from NATO and Ukraine. This was discussed during a meeting of Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to Ukrinform.
"The leaders discussed a number of bilateral and multilateral topics, including trade, migration, and international security, including strong support from NATO and Ukraine", reported the press service of prime minister of Canada.
Additionally, Trudeau and Merkel have promised to make efforts for the timely ratification of the comprehensive economic and trade agreement between the EU and Canada.
"The two sides stressed the strong personal relationships and the common values such as respect for human rights, the rule of law, gender equality, pluralism and inclusion", noted press service of Trudeau.
