European Parliament criticized Jean-Claude Juncker for his recent congratulation letter to Russian president Vladimir Putin. The MEPs released a statement, in which they collectively condemned Juncker for losing an opportunity to remind the Russian leader about the illegal annexation and occupation of Crimea.
Radio Liberty reporter Rikard Jozwiak posted the letter on his Twitter account.

Earlier, Juncker faced criticism for his 'hideous' letter - as British MEPs put it - in which he admitted that good relations of the EU and Russia are a key factor for the continental security.
